NEBT Conditions

Stallion services (one breeding per stallion) are donated to this program and the donated services will be offered for sale through the Northeast Breeders Trust Stallion Auction (NBTSA). Information on donated stallions can be found at Perfecthorseauction.com. As a condition of this contract, the stallion owner/donor must agree to the following:

1. The stallion owner’s standard breeding contract will be signed indicating the donated breeding and sent to NBTSA so they will be familiar and have a record of the donation.
2. If the stallion is sold or dies any time before the donated obligation is met the donor of the stallion must immediately notify NBTSA. If the stallion dies before the said donated breeding occurs to the purchaser, and no other comparable stallions are available to the purchaser, NBTSA will reimburse the purchaser, in full, the amount paid. If the stallion is sold before obligations are met, the undersigned owner of the stallion at the time of donation must make arrangements with the new owners of the stallion to fulfill the obligation to purchaser. If the owner does not comply, the undersigned stallion owner will be held liable for reimbursement of monies, in full, to the purchaser.
3. The stallion owner will charge the mare owner for all normal care and any other charges. This includes chute fees in-foal fees, vet fees, shipping charges, etc.
4. Once the breeding has been sold, NBTSA will notify the facility where the stallion is standing. All contact information will be given to the winning bidder. Breeding arrangements will be made between donor and purchaser. NBTSA is not responsible for booking dates or any additional fees associated with this breeding.
5. NBTSA reserves the right to change and or modify the rules and regulations of this contract to deal with unforeseen circumstances or to better the program.

I Hereby donate to the Central New York Reining Horse Association one breeding to a designated mare by my stallion, (name in Contract Form below), for the breeding year 2025. 

The stallion owner/agent shall supply the appropriate documentation to facilitate the registration of the resulting foal according to the appropriate breed registry. Only one embryo transfer will be recognized per contract. In the case of frozen semen, the same rules apply as a live stallion breeding donation, as long as semen is viable. A live foal is guaranteed only to the extent of one return breeding the following year (the same or substitute mare), and then only by the initial owner of the contract. Any mare care charges, accidents, illness, or any mishaps concerning the mare named in this contract are the responsibility of the mare owner. A mare owner shall contact stallion owner/ agent and be responsible for any and all charges/ fees related to execution of this contract. CNYRHA is not responsible for any costs, expenses, or charges relative to execution of breeding contract by the breeding facility not contained or recorded in this contract. There will be no refunds. Donations will be sold at auction to the highest bidder; all starting bids will begin at $500.00. 

Stallion owners will receive free entry into the Open or Non pro portion of the closed futurity if their stallion is sold.
